Gale M Rasmussen, age 70, passed away on April 9, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gale was born March 1, 1948 to Max B Rasmussen and Joyce Rasmussen (Green). Gale married Rolene Rasmussen. They have been married for 18 years.
Gale has volunteered 30+ years for the Vernal City Fire Department, dedicated his life to serving his community through the fire department and serving on the boards for numerous county projects including the Uintah Rec Center and the Buckskin Hills Gun Range. Many in the community will remember his teaching of fire safety at all of the local schools. He spent his time outside of that with his family and up on Diamond Mountain. He was an avid wildlife supporter and huntsman, which he passed onto his children and grandchildren. He had a knack for finding water underground (witching a well) like not many could.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam war and supported other vets throughout his life.
