Lavona was born March 22, 1930 to Letha (Lita) Leslie Hadden and Charles Alfred Hadden in Red Mesa, Colorado. Lavona married Paul Eaton on December 26, 1947 in Aztec, New Mexico. Lavona spent her life as a waitress and loved it. She always enjoyed bowling, dancing and crocheting. She loved nothing more than spending time with her loved ones and spoiling her grandkids. She spent many hours in the kitchen feeding the neighborhood. She had the biggest heart and was sure that nobody went hungry.Lavona is survived by her children: Darlean Jensen, Danny Eaton, and Dewy Eaton; siblings: Maryelanor Smith, Maxine (Larry) Willinger, Cecil (Betty) Hadden, Jerry (Brenda) Hadden and Jeanette Eaton; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.she is preceded in death by her parents: Letha and Charles Hadden; sweetheart Paul Eaton; siblings: Carlos Hadden, Huddell Hadden, Curtis Hadden, Leslie Hadden and Netta White.Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11AM at the Naples 3rd Ward LDS Chapel (2313 South 1500 East). A viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday evening from 6-8PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Monday 9:45-10:45 AM at the chapel. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
