Loretta Reynolds Obituary
Loretta Mae Reynolds, age 78, passed away peacefully in her home on June 20,2018. She was born June 28, 1939, in Billings MT to Archie Lyle Meek and Hazel Hope Henry.
Loretta grew up mainly in Casper WY and came to Vernal in 1959, where she met her husband, Ned, and they were married on March 1, 1960. They were later sealed in the Manti Temple.
Loretta worked for the Uintah School District while her children were young, and because of her many talents, she held a variety of positions before retiring from the Weston Hotels.
Loretta loved softball, and played on and managed many teams where she made lifelong friends before trading her interests for those of her family.
She loved her family above all. Whatever their interests were became her hobbies. She rarely missed anything that her kids were involved in and never hesitated to jump in the car and travel any distance to encourage and support her children and grandchildren.
Loretta was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served wherever and whenever asked.
Loretta is survived by her husband, Ned, brothers, Gene (Joan) Meek, Gary (Claudia) Reynolds, sister, Audra (Chuck) Manos, daughter Lynda (Larry) Tusoni, son, Josh (Sheree) Reynolds, daughter, Joni (Eddie) Blandford, daughter in law, Lisa (Steve) Evans, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Maxine Meek, and Jay and Hazel Reynolds, brothers, Lyle Meek and Larry Reynolds, sister, Margie Meek, and son, Tim Reynolds.
Loretta was kind, patient and loving. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is now our guardian angel.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11AM at the Glines 5th Ward Chapel (150 South Aggie Blvd). A viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday evening from 6-8PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Monday 9:45-10:45AM at the Church.
