Lorraine Blevins Obituary
Lorraine (Lori) Blevins, age 87, passed away on May 21, 2019 in Vernal, Utah. Lorraine was born on September 18, 1931 in Sunnyside, Utah to Joseph Clinton Gibson and Vada Bryner Gibson. Lorraine married Ellie Hugh (Scott) Blevins on November 12, 1988 in the Lake Tahoe Wedding Chapel in Stateline, Nevada.
Lorraines hobbies include arts and crafts, sewing and traveling. While traveling, she enjoyed being able to swim with Stingrays. She enjoyed watching her dogs and hummingbirds. Lorraine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She has held many calling and enjoyed doing temple work. Lorraine loved her country and worked many years as a Poll Worker.
Lorraine is survived by her children: Cherolyn (Ted) Dowell of Vernal, Utah, Gregory (Charlene) Evans of Castle Rock, Colorado, and Terralea Hayes of Lacey, Washington; five grandchildren: Lori Hubbard, Tabrenia Davidson, Gregory Evans, Tyniece Richmond, and Dennis Evans; and 9 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ellie Hugh (Scott) Blevins; parents JC Gibson and Vada Bryner Gibson; sisters Beverly Newcombe and Gayle Giger; and son-in-law Donnie Hayes.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A viewing for family and friends will be held Monday 9:00-9:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Rockpoint Cemetery.Visitation Mon, Jun 10, 2019 at 9:00 am - 9:45 amKingsbury Community Church
