Willis Mair

Willis Mair, age 94, returned home to his Loving Father in Heaven on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Willis was born on December 19, 1924 to George Allen Mair and Annie Bennett Barnes Mair in Heber City, Utah. Willis was the eighth of twelve children. At the age of 18, Willis joined the Army where he proudly served his country in World War II. He received multiple accommodations serving. After being honorably discharged Willis returned to Heber where he met the love of his life, Norma Schear. They were married on November 5th, 1947. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City, Temple. Willis and Norma had four children: Linda Lou, Ronda, Stewart and Rusty. Willis lost his sweet Norma to cancer early in life. Willis married Edna May Roberts who he later divorced. Willis had five children from his second marriage: Cliff, Donna, Meshelle, Alayna and Keith.

Willis is Survived by his children: Ronda (Brad) Ryan, Rusty (Launie) Mair, Cliff (Deborah) Mair, Donna (Mike) Christensen, Meshelle (Jouni) Kijanen, and Keith (Brenda) Mair; 27 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Willis is Preceded in death by his Wife Norma, Daughter Linda Lou, Son Stewart (Maxine) Mair, and Daughter Alyana (Robert) Fay; all of his siblings, his parents, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10:00AM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00PM and Friday 9:00-9:45AM all at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery at 3:00PM with military honors.
