Jimmie was born in Rangely, CO to Philip Bert Greenhow and Lela Elaine Smuin. He lived his childhood in Colorado and later moved to Vernal where he lived most of his adult life. After finishing high school, he married Linda Mackay; they later divorced. He then married Mary Kerr, they too divorced, but remained friends. He was a hard worker, holding many oil field jobs where he made many friends and was looked up to by many for his wealth of knowledge in all things. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix or build and no problem went unsolved. He enjoyed his many hobbies, like spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, coin collecting, working in his shop, rather it be with wood or metal. He built many things over the years for his family to treasure such as leather purses, picnic tables, stools, and many other things. He was the only boy in his family and was born on April Fool's Day!!
