Karen (Merkley) Pummell
December 11, 1969 ~ July 25, 2022
Our beloved Wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Karen (Merkley) Pummell, age 52 abruptly left our company on July 25, 2022. Karen was born on December 11, 1969 to Hazel Valina Fausett McConkie Merkley and Roland Lewis Merkley.
Karen married Kevin Pummell on January 18, 1986. She was his best friend for thirty-six very short years. Karen and Kevin had three wonderful sons. Karen always said she had three sons but raised four boys. Kevin and Karen were best friends, and they were each other's soul mates. Amongst all things that Karen took pride in is being a "Granny," and it was of the utmost importance and rewarding for her.
Karen is survived by her husband Kevin Pummell; sons Caden (Emee) Pummell, of Vernal, Garret (Tamarra) Pummell, Missouri, and Brendan Pummell of Vernal. Her grandchildren, Lilli Davis, Gabbi Davis, Hudson Pummell, Rylen Clinkingbeard, Brekli Pummell, Silas Pummell, Kendall Pummell.
She is proceeded in death by her father Roland Lewis Merkley; her mother Valina Merkley; brothers Duane McConkie and Rick Merkley; sisters-in-law Deann McConkie, Debbie Nelson Pummell, Tammy Calder Pummell and Diane Merkley; nephew Robert McConkie.
Karen's absence will forever leave a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. Goodbye mom, we all love you.
