Ronald Wayne Williams

Ronald Wayne Williams passed away on January 18, 2022 at the age of 62. Ron was born on October 28, 1959 to Elder Glen Williams and Reba Fay Bunton. He was raised by his father and the woman he knew as mom his whole life, DeNece Beth Williams. Ron married Cheryl Rasmussen on June 8, 1979 in Neola, Utah and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on June 8, 1996.

Ron was a huge sports fan he loved the Braves, Jazz, Rams, BYU and Petty Racing. He was known to have multiple televisions going and a dish for the hot oil truck not to miss a game. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and creative cooking, dishes hard to duplicate and will be missed.

Ron is survived by his wife Cheryl Williams, father Elder Glenn (Willie) Williams, mother-in-law Lurraine Kay Rasmussen. Siblings Raymond Williams, Connie Taylor, Lonnie Williams, Linda Harmon (Gary), and Melissa Williams. Sibling-in-law Kendal Rasmussen (Anita), Sherry Rasmussen, Jerry Rasmussen (LaDonna), Rod Rasmussen (Jane), Wayne Rasmussen, Tommy Rasmussen(Tammy), and Kevin Rasmussen (Colleen). Sons Scott Williams (Duana) and Shawn Williams (Sierra). Grandchildren JaKayde, Scotlyn, ZaeRyn, Kamlyn, Teaglenn, Terilyn, Jayden, Cayzlyn, Rope, Riggin, and Burklee.

Proceeded in death by Mother DeNece Williams, birth mother Reba Bunton, Father-in-law Gale Rasmussen, Daughter Sabrina Williams, Granddaughters Burkley and Rozee Williams.

Funeral services will be held Saturday January 22, 2022, 11:00a.m. at the Lapoint LDS Chapel. Visitation for family friends will be held Friday from 6pm ~ 8pm and Saturday from 9:45am ~ 10:45am all the the Lapoint LDS Chapel. Interment in the Cedarview Cemetery. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
