EDWARD WILLIAM BIGLER
March 18, 1946 - February 3, 2019
Bill Bigler, 72, died February 3, 2019 at his home in Vernal. He was born in 1946, in Detroit, Michigan. Bill was the son of Orville and Elvira Bigler.
Bill graduated from Wahtonka High in Oregon, Class of 1966. Following graduation, he served with the US Army including a Vietnam War tour.
Bill married Julie Walker and after some moving around with the military, he retired, and they settled in Vernal. They celebrated 44 years of marriage last fall.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Edwin, Mike, and Dean, and sister, Edith. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Julie (Walker) Bigler, are his daughters, Kimberly (Dan) of Farmington, Monica (Marcus) of Roy; sons, Scott of Vernal, Chad (Bobbie Jean) of Vernal, Jacob (Amber) of Neola; fourteen grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Joann) of Elk Ridge, Perrie (Floy) of Queen Creek, AZ; sisters, Charmayne Kasparian of West Valley, Donna Cecil (Dwayne) of Payson, AZ, Roseann Stackhouse of Palm Springs, CA; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11AM at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Naples 2nd Ward, 2313 South 1500 East. A viewing was held Thursday evening from 6-8PM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Friday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to assist with funeral expenses.
