- About Us
I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Ashley Valley Funeral Home. The owner, Jake was so kind and caring during the passing of my grandfather. He helped us through every little detail and was so courteous in answering all of our questions. I couldn't have asked for a better experience during such a difficult time. Our family was there from out of town and Mr. Phillips was so kind to help us in any way he could. He did such a wonderful job in making my grandfather look the way he did before he was ill. Ashley Valley Funeral Home as absolutely amazing during our family's time of need.
We honor all life insurance and preplanned arrangements made at other funeral homes.
We honor all pricing from other funeral homes.
Carter Winn chose an Eagle Project that will benefit families experiencing the loss of a baby. The inspiration for his project and Tanner's came from Carter's aunt, Heidi Winn who works as a labor and delivery nurse at Ashley Regional Medical Center. Carter and numerous family members and registered scouters built four full size infant caskets. The caskets were designed by Carter's grandfather, Terry Winn. Thanks to Carter's very generous donors, there was money available to assist in the purchase of the vaults that the caskets are required to be placed in. Thank you to Jake Phillips and Ashley Valley Funeral Home for accepting these caskets that are available to families regardless of the mortuary they choose. Scouting inspires greatness. THANK YOU, CARTER!
Thank you to the Vernal Elks Lodge and the American Legion Post 11 for collecting over 250 American Flags to be retired. Ashley Valley Funeral Home along with Basin Cremation Center is honored to be able to receive the flags for retirement. The flags will be retired in the most reverent manner in our on-site crematorium.
If you see Tanner Woodruff this week give him a BIG pat on the back. This kid has spent countless hours making baby caskets for his Eagle Scout Project. These little caskets will be available at no cost to families who experience a loss of a premature baby. Tanner donated these to Juleena Mansfield who is the coordinator for Angel of Hope. These caskets will be available at Ashley Valley Funeral Home for any family to use no matter what funeral home they choose. GREAT JOB TANNER!! We are proud of you!
