Jim Marshall Obituary

Jim Marshall, age 67, passed away on May 9, 2019 in Vernal, Utah. Jim was born August 2, 1951 in Greeley, Colorado to Alfred Pearl Marshall and Bernis Ester Wise Marshall. Jim married Peggy Lou Kissling Marshall (Punky) in Roosevelt, Utah.

Jim was a great athlete and coach. He was an Allstate High School athlete who went on to play both basketball and baseball in college. He loved the ocean and mountains. Camping to surfing. He loved his family so much. His grandchildren were his world. He enjoyed watching them in their activities from dance to sports.

He worked many years in the oilfield to include owning and operating his oilfield repair and supply business. Were he met many life long friends

Jim is survived by the love of his life (Punky); his three children: Soni Lou (Brian) Snow, Sheri Lynn (Cricket) Allen, and Travis James (Jennie) Marshall; brother Brad (Sarah) Marshall, sister Jan (Flo) Caballero, nine gandchildren: JayCee (Adam) Mason, Ty Travis Marshall, Anna Marshall, Cade Marshall, Grady Marshall, Abigail Allen, Hagen Allen, Izabelle Allen, and Brilee Snow; brother-in-law Bob (Mel) Kissling, sister-in-law Alice Kissling; many cousins, neices and nephews.

He is preceded in death by is parents Alfred and Bernie Marshall, in-laws Olliver and Peggy Kissling, brother-in-law Fred Kissling.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 6-8pm at the Uintah Conference Center in the Paradise Room. Interment will be held Thursday 11am at the Rockpoint Cemetery.
