Adolph Navarro Vieyra

Adolph Navarro Vieyra passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 85 in Vernal, Utah. Adolph was born on August 12, 1939, to Helen Navarro Rodriguez and Sambino (Sam) Vieyra in Greeley, Colorado. Adolph married Cheryl Thunehorst on October 13, 2012, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Adolph enjoyed elk hunting, his horses, friends, family, and spending his spare time in the mountain taking pictures. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl (Thunehorst) Vieyra, sisters; Rita Dobrins, Virginia (Paul) Dorins, brother; Danny Vieyra, sons; Dennis (Dawn) and Jace Vieyra, sister-in-law; Diane (Randy) Alexander, granddaughter; April (Josh) Hetzel, great-granddaughter; Piper Hetzel, great-grandson; Cole Wilson, step-daughter; Carolyn (Jack) Carroll, stepson; Sean (Brenda) Mustgrave, 5 step-granddaughters, 2 step-great-granddaughter, and 1 step-great-great grandson. He is preceded in death by his parents; Helen and Sam Vieyra, sister; Little Rita, brothers; Louie, Sammy Jr., and Manuel Vieyra. Funeral Services for Adolph will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Vernal (2100 West Highway 40). A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday from 11:45am-12:45am at the Church. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery with Military Honors by the American Legion Post 11.
