Alta Brown

Alta Irene Ross Brown was called home on October 16, 2015. She was born to Floyd and Hazel Allen Ross in Lapoint, Utah. She moved to California at the age of 18 and married John W. Roberts and had two children: John Roberts Jr. (Hemet, CA) and Priscilla Roberts Kline (De Beque, CO). She married Harold Brown on July 12, 1977 and was married until her death.

Her hobbies were singing, dancing, traveling, crocheting, sewing, fishing and camping.

Irene loved her children and grandchildren and everyone who knew her. She was infectious with her personality and her beautiful laugh and smile.

Irene is survived her husband, Harold Brown; children: John Roberts Jr., Priscilla Roberts Kline, Sherrie Givens, Gayla Flores and Darla Britcliffe; 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by Jim Ross, Tex Ray Ross, Juanita Wagner,

Irene is preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Hazel Ross; siblings: Weldon Ross, Shirley Tanner, George Ross, Larry Ross, Glen Ross and Devon Ross.

We love you Momma and we shall meet again.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West).
