Andrea Bastian

Andrea Joyce Reynolds Bastian, age 26, of Vernal, died June 19, 2013, of complications following surgery. She is the wife of Trenton Darwin Bastian and mother to three children, Halle age seven, Taylor age four, and Tucker age 8 months.

Andrea was born October 18, 1986, in Vernal, a daughter of Kenneth G. and Annette Burghardt Reynolds. She graduated from Uintah High School, and earned an Associate Degree from Utah State University. Andrea was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Ashley 1st Ward.

Andrea loved being a wife and mother, and made homemaking an art. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She liked camping, boating, and watching her children in soccer and dance activities. Andrea had an amazing capacity to weave herself into the life of her new family when she married. She was an amazing mother.

Andrea is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Annette Reynolds of Naples; brothers and sister, Brett and wife Debbie, Troy and wife Tiffany, Kelly and wife Shawny, William and wife Cassie, Elizabeth and husband Derik; twenty-one nieces and nephews; grandmothers, Vadrus Wall and Frona Reynolds; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dan and April Bastian. She is preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Reynolds; niece, Izzi Howcroft; and grandfathers, Glen Reynolds, Duane Wall, and Edward Burghardt.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Ashley 1st Ward Chapel at 2:30P.M.. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
