Andrew Clyde Olsen was born on October 28, 2009 to Michael and Amy Olsen in Vernal, Utah. He returned to his loving Heavenly Father unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. We love him and will miss him more than words can say. Andrew was preceded in death by his grandmother Sheila Larsen, his grandfather Boyd Olsen and his cousin Scott Johnson. He is survived by his parents, his siblings Hannah (Daniel) Stoney, Tom Olsen, Taylor Olsen, Grace Olsen, his nephew and niece Bennie and Haven Stoney.
Andrew loved being where the people are and had many friends at school and in the community. He liked to laugh and had a smile that would light up the room. He loved to play with his niece and nephew and was the epitome of the "fun uncle".
Andrew was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served as the secretary of his Priest Quorum. He was a sophomore at Uintah High School where he competed on the swim team and worked as a Lifeguard at the Uintah Recreation Center. Andrew was an Amatuer Radio Operator with the call sign KK7CUH. He loved riding his dirt bike and gaming with his brothers, cousin, and friends. He had recently become interested in flying and was taking lessons to become a private pilot with his father. He loved all things Disney and loved to go to Disneyland and Walt Disney World with his family. Andrew had a close relationship with his mother and he was her "Little Buddy".
We want to thank his friends, teachers and all those who had such a positive influence on him. Thank you for loving our son. We also want to thank the first responders from the Uintah County Sheriff's office, Vernal City Police and Gold Cross Ambulance.
