Angela Morrell (Pack) Arnold was born September 25, 1957, in Ogden, Utah. She passed away in her home surrounded by her family on October 30, 2024, in Vernal, Utah. She graduated from Uintah High School, class of '74. Angela was known for her vibrant spirit and a heart full of love for her family and friends. Angela cherished her role as a mother to Amber, Jaime, Robert, stepchildren; Billy Arnold, April Pollett, Jackie DeWitt, and bonus daughter; Jennie Pack. She adored all of her many grandchildren. She had a unique talent for finding treasure in what others considered trash, which was reflected in her junk journals and scrapbooks, often sharing her creations with her friends and loved ones. Angela was a lifetime collector of pens, paper, purses, and bags. She always teased with her kids, "Sorry, not sorry! Everyone can have a bag or a purse as their inheritance when I die. But there should be enough to go around so no one feels left out." She loved to play softball and volleyball as a younger adult with her LDS Ward teams and at Morrell Family Reunions. Horseshoes and Bingo were also favorite activities during the family reunions. Angela found delight in simple pleasures, such as enjoying Chocolate Cake, and her Grandma Ruby's Macaroni and Tomatoes, (even though she didn't like all the work it took to recreate the original recipe) she came up with her own that she passed down to her kids. She had a special fondness for Peach Ice Cream, which she indulged in from Palisade, Colorado when she visited Robert and Brett. She tried to find black licorice ice cream every time anyone asked what kind of ice cream she wanted, it was always black licorice unless she was in Palisade. She always had stories of memories to share about everything and when it came to ice cream, the memories of Farr Better Ice Cream shop in Ogden from her childhood could go on for hours. Angela's favorite bands were The Beatles, Bon Jovi, and Jelly Roll. She loved watching reality TV shows like Big Brother, Survivor and spent many hours watching her favorite people on YouTube, who also became friends of hers. Her pets throughout the years brought her immense happiness. But most of all her 2 most recent dogs, Rosco and Porter. Angela's favorite place in the world was online, where she connected with many people who were jokingly known as her "Imaginary Friends." She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Even though her "Imaginary Friends" never had the pleasure of sitting in the same room as her and visiting in person, there was nothing imaginary about the love she had for them. She had a very strong testimony of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints and hated it so bad when her scoliosis got to the point she could no longer go to church on Sunday. When Covid hit and everyone was quarantined, several people wished they could still gather at the chapel but every Sunday she would make sure to log into the Zoom meeting early so she didn't miss one word. She was so excited to be able to attend church without the physical pain of going to the chapel. She adored her visiting teachers and always looked forward to their visits. She kept her scriptures close and right up to the time of her passing, she kept saying she hoped she had done enough good throughout her life to make sure she would return to her heavenly father and spend eternity in the Celestial kingdom. She looked forward to the reunion with the love of her life and other family members she knew would be waiting for her in heaven. Angela was preceded in death by her father, Merrill Allen Morrell, her mother Gerald Dee McKinlay Morrell, her brother, Donald Allen Morrell, her sister Gail Morrell Bentley, and her grandson, Gavin Mikhail Johnson. She is survived by a giant family: her brothers and sisters; Ann (Donald) Morrell of Price, Utah; Michael Allen (Sharon) Morrell of Layton, Utah; Laurie (Michael) Marquis of Gallatin, Missouri; Troy McKinlay (Jennifer) Morrell of Price, Utah; and many cherished nieces and nephews (to many list).
