Anthony Armond Liebhardt passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 82.
Anthony was born June 23, 1938 to John Matthew Liebhardt and Cora Ysobel Ames in Emeryville, California.
Anthony married Marcia Fletcher on April 26, 1957 in Elko Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt lake City Temple on November 6, 1980. They had five children. They traveled the world with his lustrous career with the United States Army. They lived in many places, some of which were France and Germany.
Anthony served one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star for bravery under fire.
He was an excellent marksman and traveled with the USA marksman team. He recieved many many awards and set new records.
After retiring from the Army, they lived in Vernal, Utah where he was the owner and operator as a contract tile sitter.
Anthony loved hunting, fishing, golfing, oil painting, and drawing. He later learned to crochet and was very talented at it.
He is survived by his children: Ren Anderton (son-in-law), Vernal, Utah, Scott (Teresa) Liebhardt, Vernal, Utah, Kelly (Shelley) Liebhardt Vernal, Utah, Troy (Darla) Liebhardt, Battlemountain, Nevada, Tia (Dee) Lundbergleschin, Casper, Wyoming; sisters and brother: Sally (Devere) Ostler, Vernal, Utah, Anita Custer, Chico, California, John "Jack" (Donna) Liebhardt, Jacksonville, Arizona, Jannea (Joe) Maestas, Vernal, Utah, Gayela Gardner, West Jordan, Utah, Michael (Linda) Liebhardt, Cedar City, Utah; 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents and step mother Clara Bernice Chadburn, wife Marcia Liebhardt, daughter Paris Anderton, 3 grandchildren: Chet Anderton, Jeremy Anderton, and Tyler Liebhardt; and brother David Liebhardt.
