Antonio "Tony" Villegas

Antonio "Tony" Villegas passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the age of 53. Antonio was born on January 17, 1973, to Marie Isabel Gonzales and Lorenzo Villegas in Zacatecas, Mexico. Antonio married Monica Hernandez on March 8, 2017, in Vernal, Utah.

Antonio enjoyed spending his time in the Flaming Gorge mountains, hiking, fishing and camping with his wife and family. He loved to spend his weekends at the park with his three grandchildren, taking them to special holiday events, and just having quality time with them.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Monica Hernandez of 28 years, his lovely daughters and their spouses Angelica Villegas (Elijah Martinez) and Victoria Villegas (Trevor McLaren) and his three amazing grandchildren Aliyah Martinez, Cortez Martinez and Adriel Villegas.

He is preceded in death by mother Marie Isabel Gonzales, father Lorenzo Villegas, mother in law Cynthia Ramos and brother Jesus Villegas.

A celebration of life for Tony will be held Friday, March 20 at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
