Barbara (Bodily) Fairey

LIVESTREAM LINK https://vimeo.com/483272293 Barbara Bodily Fairey returned to her Heavenly Home on November 23, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. She was 83 years young. Barbara was born in Vernal, UT to Reed Bodily and Olen Hunting Bodily, and was the 5th of eleven children. She attended Uintah High School, graduating with the class of 1955. Shortly after high school, she met and married Russell Allen, and moved to California. Together they welcomed two children. In 1966 Barbara met and married her eternal companion Jennings Bryan Fairey Jr. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Oakland California Temple, together they had 9 children. Barbara enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, gardening, family history and spending time with her family. She was willing to go out of her way to help anyone in need, especially her children. She was a sweet, tender soul, and was loved by all who knew her. Barbara is survived by 11 children Steve (Lynne) Allen, Carey Allen, Cheryl, David (Tracy Beede) Fairey, John (Monica) Fairey, Sharon (David) Gifford, Boyd (Jenny) Fairey, Heather (Brett) Barnes, Elizabeth (RJ) McGaha, Richard (Angelia) Fairey, Nathan (Angela) Fairey, 35 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 6 siblings. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral service for Barbara Fairey will be held Saturday December 5, 2020 at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home 410 North 800 West. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday December 4, 2020 from 3:00pm-8:00pm, and Saturday from 9:45am - 10:45am all at the Mortuary.
