Barbara Jean Jackson

Barbara Jean Jackson, wife of the late Don Jackson, passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 81. Barbara was born on April 17, 1938, to Bertha Naomi (Dixon) McManus and Ambrose Gregory McManus in Delta, Colorado. Barbara married Donald Leroy Jackson on May 8, 1954, in Elko, Nevada. Barbara was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed gymnastics, golf, tennis, gardening, genealogy and her grandchildren. She had many church callings and enjoyed working in the temple. Barbara is Survived by her daughters, Lenore (Rick) Jones and Teera (Burk) Young. 9 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Leroy Jackson and son Stanley Lee Jackson. Graveside services for Barbara will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 12:00pm at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am until 11:30am at the Phillips Ashley Funeral Home.
