Barbara Lynn (Moss) Risbon

Barbara Moss Risbon, 77 earned her angel wings on January 10, 2025, following a short illness. She was born on June 7, 1947. She grew up in Vernal, Utah and married Charles Irwin "Chuck" Risbon on August 2, 1965. This union brought 5 children and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Chuck passed away on October 22, 2009. Barbara worked in education for many years where she earned the love and respect of students and parents with her love, wit and sarcasm. She was always a shining example to so many people and especially her children and grandchildren. Barbara was always there to lend a supportive ear, and willing to help in any way possible. All who know her understood that she pulled no punches and if you asked for her advice, you would receive her brutally honest thoughts and feelings. Barbara was a true survivor throughout her life. Barbara is survived by her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her many dear friends. She was greeted by her Dear husband, Chuck and her son James. Per her wishes she will be cremated and a private family interment will take place in Vernal Memorial Park. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
