Benjamin Luther Bellon

Benjamin "Benny" Luther Bellon passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 at the age of 74.Benny was born on October 5th 1943 to Luther and Grace Ann Bellon in Jamestown, North Dakota, the second of four children.His family moved to Burley Idaho in 1952 where he attended school and graduated in 1961 from Burley High School.He married Dianne Baily on February 1st, 1963 in Rupert Idaho. They moved to Salt Lake City there they raised two sons, Dennis and Kelly. They later divorced.Benny became a successful roofing contractor. He was well known and had many friends and colleagues in the roofing community.He worked extremely hard and enjoyed the simple things in life. He retired in Manila, Utah where he loved to fish and hunt. He loved being outdoors.He is survived by his sisters Phyllis (Deloy) Posey, Peggy (Paul) Onishi, his sons Dennis (Holly) and Kelly Bellon, four grandchildren and two great granddaughters.He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Hank.Dad asked to be cremated and have his ashes put under a certain tree overlooking Flaming Gorge.Family and many friends are welcome to join us in celebrating his life on Saturday August 18th, 2018 at 295 North Main, Manila between 1-5.Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com Memorial Service Sat, Aug 18, 2018 at 1:00 pmMaeser Fairview Cemetery
