Berle Bell

June 15, 1928 — February 1, 2013

Berle J. Bell was born June 15, 1928. His parents are Ernest Herbert Bell and Matilda Johnson Bell. He passed away February 1, 2013, at Ashley Regional Medical Center at the age of 84.

Berle married Modena Horrocks June 2, 1948, in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked at the Vernal Post Office for 30 years, and then went to work for the Labrums at the Vernal Super Wash until three weeks ago.

He had a charitable and tender heart. He loved his many years of service at the Care Center Branch. He was always ready to help anyone with a need.

The Gospel was most important in his life. He loved our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. He looked forward to the day when he would be reunited with his parents, special friends and loved ones that had gone before.

He always enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He kept his hands busy making "twirlies" that he gave to lots and lots of folks throughout the years.

He didn't like attention drawn to him, he didn't like to be fussed over and he didn't want to be a bother to anyone. His illness took him quickly, fulfilling his desire.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jeram Dean Bell.

He is survived by his wife Modena Horrocks Bell, sons Rickie J. (Jennifer), Val Dean (Susan), daughter Shavon (Dennis) Hoopes, 14 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren, and three on the way. His family was his greatest joy.

Funeral Services were held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11AM at the Glines Stake Center (78 South 2000 West). A viewing was held Monday 9:00~10:45AM at the Church. Burial was in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.
