Betty Anderson

Betty Loraine Anderson, a cherished mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on December 2, 1951, in Tooele, Utah, to Edna Latham Weyland and Ross Weyland, Betty touched the lives of those around her with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

Betty was married to David Anderson on September 28, 1968, in Magna, Utah, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. Her family was her greatest joy, and she is survived by her beloved daughter, Tracy Baker (and her cherished cat, Lucy) of Smith River, CA, as well as her son, Brett Anderson (Candy) of Roosevelt, Utah. She was a proud grandmother to Cooper and Kansas Anderson, who brought light to her life. Betty is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Kathy (Paul) LilenQuist, Viola (Doug) Bodrero, Doreen Weyland, and Terrie (Roy) Williams.

Betty was preceded in death by her devoted husband, David, her brother, Rick Weyland, and her beloved parents, Ross and Edna Weyland. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

In honor of her life, a private family gathering will take place to celebrate the wonderful person that Betty was. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit and love will continue to shine brightly. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Primary Children's Medical Center in Betty's name.

Betty's life was a testament to love, resilience, and compassion, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. May she rest in peace.
