Betty Mcknight

Betty Sue Maple Miller McKnight passed away June 24, 2012 at the home of Ken and Diane Miller after a long battle with cancer. Betty was born on January 19, 1935 in Pampa, Texas.

Betty lived many years in Vernal prior to moving to Grand Junction, Colorado. Betty was a member of the Current Topics and Dina Mites club, where she served as the president.

Betty is survived by her husband, Bill McKnight, children: Kenneth Eugene (Diane) Miller (Grand Junction, CO), Ronald Keith (Becky) Miller (Dallas, TX), Raymond "Corky" (Paulette) Miller (Tampa, FL), Todd McKnight (Atascadero, CA), Chad (Kristy) McKnight (San Capistrano, CA), Jeff McKnight (Edwards, CO), Joy (Austin) Chen (Santa Monica, CA); 17 grand children, four great grand children, and one on the way.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11A.M. at the Saint James Catholic Church. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West) and also one hour prior to services at the church.
