Beverly Ross

Beverly Belle Dillon Ross was born October 23, 1930 near Cortez Colorado in a small farming community called Areola. She was born to Robert and Roberta Smith Dillon.

She spent her young life in Colorado. She spent one year in Oregon, then "came home" to Colorado.

In 1948 she married Carl "Tony" Ross in Montrose Colorado, they moved to Vernal in 1950 where Mr. Ross was working in the oil field which he did until his death in 1989.

Being one of Jehovahs' Witnesses was very important to her. She enjoyed writing letters sharing the good news of God's Kingdom coming to others.

She is survived by two sons; Doug (Ruth) Ross and Kirby Ross. Four of her six children have died; Carl Ross Jr., Carma Harris, Carla Hartman and Kathy VanBuren.

She is survived by her two sons, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her two brothers David (Tita) Dillon of Craig, Colorado and Dennis Dillon of Texas.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Carl "Tony" Ross, four of her six children, her parents, seven brothers, and one sister; Sadie Babb.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2 P.M. at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A viewing was held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park
