Brooke Lynn Day

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brooke Lyn Day, age 35, passed away on March 25, 2025 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She was born on August 9, 1989, in Cedar City, Utah, to Jerome (Jerry) Day and Deborah Dean. Brooke's journey through life was defined by her profound love and dedication to animals, especially horses. She formed an unbreakable bond with her horse, Clark, who was not just a companion but a trusted friend. Brooke's passion for horses went beyond personal connection. She devoted her time and energy to training horses for children with autism, offering these children a unique opportunity to form relationships with these majestic animals. She was a fierce advocate for animal rights, Brooke was a tireless protector of all creatures. Animals brought her peace and understanding when human connections seemed difficult. Brooke also cherished the beauty of nature and the simple joys it brought. She found comfort in fishing, camping, and spending special. moments in the outdoors with her family and friends. Her love for nature and her relationships with those closest to her reflected her genuine warmth and the depth of her caring spirit. Brooke is survived by her two sons, Koby Smith (17) and Sawyer Hogan (2). Her absence will be felt deeply by these two young souls, who will carry her memory with them throughout their lives. Brooke had an unwavering love for her children and always did her best to care for them, providing them with what she could when she was able. She is also survived by her parents, Jerome Day, Deborah (Jim) Joy; her brothers, James Day (Hayden) Dylan Day, and Terry Hogan; as well as many extended family and friends who loved her. Brooke was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dempsey and Janice Day. Brooke you will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing you. Your kind heart and joyful spirit will live on in the memories of those who loved you. Brooke, you will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace Brooke. Graveside services for Brooke will be held, Friday April 4, 2025 at 11:00am at Vernal Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be held that morning from 9:30am ~ 10:30am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home prior to the services.
