Carolyn May Jenkins

Carolyn May Stubbs Jenkins passed away on February 27, 2020. Carolyn was born April 5, 1941 in Provo Utah to John Ritchie Stubbs and Sarah Pearl Massey. Carolyn was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. She was a homemaker, Manager for Wal-Mart, Head Cook at USU College and more. She loved to play canasta, knit, quilt, and go camp and fishing. Carolyn loved to work in her flower beds and vegetable garden. She loved the Lord and the LDS Church. She married Donald Caldwell Feb 15, 1957. They had a daughter, Donnet Caldwell Beers (husband David) Granddaughter Mandi Dawn Harris. A son Lewis Lamount Caldwell (wife Suzanne), Grandchildren Dusti, Jeremy, Jordan Caldwell and Jonathan & Sydne Hanks. Including 7 Great grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson. She later married Norman Jenkins on February 14, 2000. Norman, his children and grandchildren had unconditional love for Carolyn. They were willing to support her with any needs she had. Carolyn loved them all. She is preceded in death by her parents Ritchie and Pearl Stubbs, brother Junior Stubbs, sister Rea Stubbs & NaDean Lytle. She is survived by her husband Norman Jenkins and four brothers Van, Sterling, David and Daniel Stubbs. Three sisters Barbara Southam (husband Junius) Margaret Harrell and Debra Lytle (husband Don). Funeral services will be held on March 6, 2020 at Ashley Valley Funeral Home at 12p.m. A viewing for immediate family will be held from 10-11a.m. and a public visitation will be held from 11-11:45a.m. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of those who cared for Carolyn, with a special thanks to Mike and Janet Jenkins for all they have done for our mother.
