Cheryl Lynn Thomson

Cheryl Lynn (Fox) Thomson of Vernal, Utah passed away on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at her home in Vernal. Cheryl was born on March 5, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Cleo Lee and Marie Fox. She was raised in Utah and California. She married Daniel Gene Thomson on January 21, 1978 in Vernal. They later were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 7, 1987. Cheryl enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and loved going to yard sales. She loved working in her yard and makingcrafts. She worked atDeseretIndustry for a few years. She enjoyed working there and helping others. Cheryl was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Cheryl is survived by her husband Dan Thomson, son John L. Blair, daughter Janice Marie (Ben) Cates ofGooding, ID, sister Maria(Joe) Davis of Vernal, four grandchildren: Jessica, Chance, Jonathan, and Brady (Braidee), nine nephews and ten nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents Lee and Marie Fox, mother and father-in-law Bud and Emma Thomson and her brother Neldon Fox. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at11AMat the Jensen LDS Chapel (8775 East Hwy 40). A viewing for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening 6-8 PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Wednesday 10:00-10:45AM at the chapel. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview cemetery under the care and direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
