Clarence "Ed" Edgar Dansie

Clarence Edgar Dansie passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 68.  Ed was born on February 12, 1952 to Evalyn Marlean Jones and Robert Clarence Dansie in Payson, Utah.  Ed married Connie Marie Wheeler on April 7, 1972 in Springville, Utah.

As a young man, Ed enjoyed rodeos and bull riding.  He liked to hunt, fish, and go camping.  He also water skied and was on a bowling league.  Ed worked in the oilfield from 1977-2015 and made many friends there.  He ran a few cows for a while and he started farming a little piece of ground in Jensen.  Ed spent many hours down at the farm.  He loved his grandkids and had a nickname for all of them.  He played many hands of solitaire on the computer and it was rare for him to ever miss Baxter Black on Monday's.

Ed is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie; his mother Evalyn Dansie of Spanish Fork; children: Sam (Tina) Dansie, Keri (Brandon) Bowthorpe, April (Pat) Wallen, Shawn (Audra) Dansie.  He also leaves behind 16 grandkids and 4 1/2 great-grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Clarence Dansie and his brother Verl Richard Dansie.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.  A viewing for family and friends will be held Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary.
