Coy Ray Hatch

Coy Ray Hatch passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Coy Ray was born on April 18, 1944 to Barsalena and Claude Hatch in Vernal, UT. Coy Ray married Charlotte Ann Love on May 9, 1965 in Big Spring, TX. Coy Ray enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Before he got ill with COPD, he loved to go fishing and camping with his wife. He worked for Ashley Valley Water and Sewer Treatment up until his retirement, then went to work at Basin Sports in the gun department where he made lifelong friends. Coy Ray is survived by his wife Charlotte of 59 years, his daughter Cristy (Kevin) Smuin, Grandsons; Dustin (Lexy) Smuin, Devin (Ari) Smuin, and Great Grandchildren; Broan, Gannon, Cooper, Brielle, Aceyn, and Rhen Smuin, Siblings; Clay (Debbie) Hatch, Gina (Tom) Buma. He is preceded in death by his parents Barcie and Claude Hatch, Son Mike Hatch, Grandson Derrick Smuin, and Brother Drew Hatch. A private family service will be held under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
