Darrel Charles Slaugh

Darrel Charles Slaugh passed away on July 26, 2020 at the age of 93. Darrel was born on December 30, 1928 to Rena and Charles Slaugh in Vernal, Utah. Darrel married Berta Ellifritz on May 27, 1948 in Elko, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They later divorced. Darrel and Berta had 5 children, Sheila, Bryce, Kathie, Shelley and Brian. Darrel enjoyed hunting, camping and cutting firewood. Darrel is survived by Bryce and Londa Slaugh (son), Kathie Davies (daughter), Shelley and Barry Hatch (daughter), Brian and Teralene Slaugh (son). Lynn Slaugh (brother), 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. Darrel is preceded in death by Berta Slaugh, and Sheila Slaugh (daughter). Graveside services will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11AM at the Vernal Memorial Park with military honors provided by American Legion Post 11. A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday evening from 6-8PM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Friday 9:45-10:45 at the mortuary.
