David Bryce Hall

March 15, 1976 — February 18, 2021

David "Bryce" Hall was born March 15th, 1976 in Orem, UT to Evan Hall and Velda (Allred) Hall. Shortly after that the family moved to Vernal, UT. Bryce was the third of five children. He grew up backpacking and fishing in the High Uinta mountains, rolling boiled Easter eggs down Chocolate Rock, and of course raising a little hell for the neighbors with toilet paper and rotten apricots. He learned how to play the piano and harmonica. He married Shalene Anderson June 13th, 1997. They were blessed with a beautiful baby girl Alayna Hall on April 14th, 1999. They later divorced. Bryce and Alayna made many amazing memories hiking and fishing in the High Uintas and going on hunting trips together. Bryce married Teri Tolbert on April 8th, 2005. Bryce enjoyed the close friendships he made in the Tolbert family. Bryce and Teri later divorced in 2011. For most of his life Bryce worked at Stearns Construction where he met many amazing friends. Bryce and his friends loved to play horseshoes, go hiking, fishing, and hunting together. Together they also accomplished hiking the 100 mile Highline Trail in the High Uintas. Bryce's best friend and companion was Bella, his German Shepard. She was always by his side in all his adventures. In 2017, Bryce moved to Oregon to try out deep sea fishing. It was on that adventure where magically Bryce and Christy Tavegia found each other. They came to find out that they had lived next door most of their lives and had not even known it. Two "Vernalites" met 3,000 miles away from home and fell in love. November 11th, 2018 they were married and became a happy family. Bryce loved gaining another daughter, Julie Reed. They went on many daddy-daughter dates and he loved to go kayaking with her. Shortly after getting married, Bryce and Christy moved back to Vernal, UT. In 2020 Bryce was blessed with a granddaughter, Ensley, who he loved dearly. Bryce was an amazing cook. He loved cooking "grandma's tacos" for anyone he could. Bryce was the light and life of the party with a crazy fun sense of humor. He had a soft heart and was loved by many. He will be greatly missed. Bryce is survived by his wife Christy (Tavegia) Hall, daughters Alayna Hall and Julie Reed, parents Evan Hall (Sue Ann Bilbey), siblings Trevor Hall, Kelly Hall, Neil Hall, and Chelsea Nastiuk.
