Deann Oaks

DeeAnn Oaks, age 63 returned home into the arms of our Heavenly Father July 13, 2012. She was born to Brett and Alene Hendricks November 18, 1949. She married her childhood sweetheart Wayne Pierce and they had 3 beautiful children together, they later divorced. She then married Ronnie Oaks they too later divorced. DeeAnn had one great joy in her life that was her grandchildren. She was known for her humorous personality and how much fun she was to be around. She was very talented and was the best at what ever she did. DeeAnn was the lead accountant at Chevron in Bonanza for many years. She was a member of the LDS church. She had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known, she would do anything for anyone. DeeAnn is survived by her mother Alene Hendricks, son's Rory and Brandon Pierce, daughter Misty (Clayton) Scott, all of Vernal. Brother Chris Hendricks of Evanston, WY, sister Sue Holmes, brother Russell (Elsie) Hendricks, all of Vernal.

DeeAnn is preceded in death by her father Brett Hendricks, grandparents A.L. and Rosa Pogue, and her precious grandson Nolan Pierce.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 19, 2012 at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West) at 11 AM, with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Rock Point Cemetery.
