Dennis Ray Long

Dennis Ray Long passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the age of 65. Dennis was born on November 19, 1957 to Reda Lee Bingham and Gordon Malcom Long in Inglewood, California. Dennis Ray Long married Christine Ann McClendon on May 13, 1981 in the Salt Lake City Temple, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dennis Ray Long loved being with his family very much and enjoyed his career, participating in church callings, working within and for his community, and anything mechanical he could get his hands on. He is survived by Christine Ann McClendon Long, Michelle Long, Nathan and Kimberly Long, Bryan and Charlotte Long, Eric and Maria Long, Craig and Kylie Long, Zack and Marci Barnes, Ronald and Louise Long, Wendy and Jerry Staker, Darrin Long, Holly and Mark Jackman, followed by 19 total grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Reda Lee Bingham Long, Gordon Malcom Long, Willian Allen McClendon, Betty Jean Bryan McClendon, and Edison Malcom Long. Funeral services for Dennis will be held Friday December 23, 2022 at 11:00am at the Uintah Stake Center (4080 South 2500 East). A Visitation and viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday from 6:00pm ~ 8:00pm at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home, and Friday from 9:30am ~ 10:30am at the church. Interment in Vernal Memorial Park. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
