Diane (Wilkins) Peltier

Diane Wilkins Peltier passed away on January 13, 2022 she was 79. Diane was born December 1, 1942 to Aaron and Grace Wilkins in Vernal, Ut. Diane married James Junior. Peltier on March 1, 1968 in Vernal, Ut. They lived in Utah, California and Missouri before moving back to Utah in 1972 and settling in Vernal in 1977. Grandma and Grandpa always lived, worked and played together. They ran The Lamplighter Restaurant for 6 years then opened The Pro Shop where they worked together until Grandpa passed away February 26, 1990. She continued to own and operate The Pro Shop for 32 years. Diane loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, camping, fishing and bowling. She was so grateful for the time she had with her family, shop patrons and those who were a part of her life. Diane is survived by Her: Daughters: Mechelle & (Eric Miller, Vernal), Cherlyn & (Jonathan Kimball, West Jordan, Ut). Grandchildren: A.J. & Lydia Cattoor, Christopher Miller & Alizabeth Middleton, Keera Naupoto & Ramon Santos, Jessica & Juan Kimball Diaz, Joshua Kimball, Adam Kimball, Nathaniel Kimball, Hannah Kimball and Hailey Kimball. Great Grandchildren: Yadon Pearson, Kyleah Pearson, Kasey Cattoor, Meikah Cattoor, Jaylee Fulkerson, Leila Naupoto, Mateo Santos, Annabelle Kimball, Jaxon White and Ruby Diaz. She is preceded in death by: Parents, Aaron and Grace Wilkins, husband James (Jim) Peltier and sister Gerri Wilkins and many extended family members all who were there to welcome her with open arms. Services will be held in Vernal, Utah: Visitations: Monday, January 17th at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home, 410 N 800 W, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Tuesday, January 18th at the Vernal 9th Ward Chapel, 200 West 250 North, 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM. Funeral: Tuesday, January 18th at the Vernal 9th Ward Chapel, 200 West 250 North, 11:00AM Internment: Tuesday, Vernal Memorial Park, 1700 South Vernal Avenue, 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM
