Dixie Hardman

Dixie Ann Hardman, age 74, passed away on March 15, 2014 in the town she loved, Vernal, Utah.

She was born February 2, 1940 to Milton and Veva Jensen in Park City, Utah. She had a happy childhood with her sisters and nieces and loved to reminisce about it often. She married Robert Buzz Meadows and later divorced. She married Lovell Hardman on April 21, 1975. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo, Utah LDS Temple.

She loved to laugh and was always optimistic. She spent many happy times camping and enjoying the outdoors. She loved gardening, feeding her bird visitors, reading, traveling, and enjoying family gatherings. In her earlier years, she worked as a lab technician at Cottonwood Hospital and in recent years she was employed at PrimeTime For Kids which she enjoyed greatly.

She is survived by seven children, Diana Jones, Bruce Hardman, Tammy Webb, Melanie Meadows, Pamela Bailey, Sandra Griffith, and Julie Hall; One sister, Mickey Evans; 23 grandchildren and many great grandchildren as well.

She was preceded in death by her sweetheart, Lovell Hardman; Parents, Milton and Veva Jensen and two sisters, Norma Wagstaff and Nadine Cooley.

Services will be held Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Davis LDS Chapel (4080 S 2500 E). Friends and family may call Tuesday evening at Ashley Valley Funeral Home located at 410 N 800 W Vernal, Utah from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be at the Rockpoint Cemetery under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
