Donald Edward Hermann

Donald Edward Hermann Sr. Born to Sybol and Frank Hermann June 6, 1936 in Rapid City South Dakota. Married at age 18 to Betty Jo Boardman. Joined the Navy that same year. Served in the Navy for four years. Don and Betty had and raised 6 children: Don, Dan, Darryl, Valerie, Douglas and Jess. They have 33 Grand kids and 43.5 Great Grand kids. Betty Jo passed away in 2004. In 2006 Don was adopted into and became an integral part of Patty Hackett's family where he gained 6 more kids and 23 more Grand Children. He was loved, cherished, admired by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed Passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 29, 2022 at 3 pm Funeral services for Donald will be held Thursday August 4, 2022 at 3:00PM with a visitation from 1:45PM ~ 2:45PM all at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Interment will be Friday at 2:00PM in the Mount Pisgah Cemetery (804 S. Emerson Ave.) in Gillette, Wyoming with Military Honors by the American Legion Post 42. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
