Donna Gayle (Tramell) Helton

Donna Gayle Helton, age 59 of Vernal, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday January 24, 2022. Donna was born on September 6, 1962 to Linda Tramell and Orville Tramell in Hobbs, New Mexico. Donna married Shane Helton on September 2, 1994. Donna enjoyed sewing, beading and making jewelry, going to the movies, dancing, and spending time with her daughters. Donna is survived by her father Orville (Bonnie) Tramell, husband Shane Helton, daughters Joeley (Matthew) Batty and Kaelyn Helton, grandson Owen Batty, siblings: Lorrie Tramell, Kathy Norris, Billy Kidd, and Brian Kidd. She is preceded in death by her mother Linda Marie Tramell and her brother Terry Lee Tramell. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church (12129 N Denver City Hwy Hobbs, New Mexico 88242). Interment will follow at the Prairie Haven Cemetery of Hobbs.
