Douglas Pat Person

Douglas "Doug" Pat Person age 59, of Vernal, passed away June 21, 2021 with his family surrounding him. Doug was born on September 12, 1961 to Edna Rae and Paul Oscar Person in Oroville, California. Doug was a pretty simple man. He loved being around his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, family BBQ's, teasing all the nieces and nephews. Doug had an enormous heart and if anyone ever needed help, he would gladly do whatever he could. He had a huge love for his dogs. He enjoyed planting flowers and gardening. Doug is survived by his siblings, Brenda (Fawn) Potter, Jim Person, Tony (Lydia) Person. Along with a son Chris, and daughter Susan. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Edna Person, and one son Curt, and grandparents. Funeral services for Doug will be held Tuesday June 29, 2021 at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West).
