Elizabeth Joeann Summarell

**Ashley Valley Funeral Home is not handling the services for Elizabeth JoeAnn Summarell; the obituary is being posted as a courtesy to the family.**

Elizabeth JoeAnn Summarell, age 88, of Roosevelt, passed away June 13, 2023.

She was born March 30, 1935 in Myton Utah to Leonard Guy Taylor and Jennie Roselan Herring Taylor .

She married her sweetheart Ray Summarell on November 14,1950. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 29 1964, he died January 29, 1964. Together mom and dad have five children, Joe, Lynn, Terry, Cindy, and Lisa.

Mom loved to crochet afghans, baby blankets, baby booties and baby dresses, she was a great seamstress and made a lot of our clothes when we were younger.  She retired from Zions bank as a bank teller, she was wild about the color pink, her favorite thing to do was go for rides and watch RFD on the TV and lets not forget Judge Judy. She loved her cappuccino.

She is survived by her children, Joe (Terry) Summarell, Lynn (Reta) Summarell, Terry (Patty) Summarell, Cindy Moore, Lisa (Doug) Jensen, 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, brother, Ken (Elaine) Taylor, sisters, Donna Thompson, and Glenda (Tony) Pereza.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sweetheart, Ray, brothers and sisters , daughters-in-law, Shirley Summarell, Patty Summarell, Sons-in-law, Doug Jensen, Dave Moore and grandson, Jeremy Summarell.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m at the Hullinger Mortuary Roosevelt, Utah with a viewing Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m and Monday from 9:30 a.m to 10:45 a.m

Burial will be in the Cedar View Cemetery.
