Elizabeth Anne Sunkees

Elizabeth Anne Sunkees passed away at the age of 79 in Melrose, Massachusetts. Elizabeth was born on February 7, 1938 to David Cornelius and Madeline Boyce Sunkees in Los Angeles, California. Elizabeth had many hobbies, she enjoyed reading, crafts, music, and playing the violin. She sang in many choir groups and loved to dance. Elizabeth was a member of the Christian Science Church and also worked for the church and the newspaper. She graduated from University High School and later graduated from Santa Monica Jr. College. Elizabeth is survived by Jon and Janet Sunkees, nephews Matt and Denise Sunkees, Nathan Sunkees, Andy and Jamie Sunkees, cousins Neal and Cindy Sunkees and Judy Sunkees and many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her father and mother and two brothers, Bruce and Gerald. Services were held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A visitation was held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Interment was in the Rockpoint Cemetery.
