Elton Lin Wilcock

Elton Lin Wilcock, age 60, passed away on February 11, 2025 at intermountain hospital in Murray Utah surrounded by his children. He was in a severe car accident on November 29, 2024 that resulted in him being paralyzed from the chest down. In the days before the accident, he was enjoying life to the fullest, indulging in seafood, relaxing at a hotel, getting a fresh haircut, and flirting with the ladies. After two months in the hospital, undergoing surgery and various therapies, he was regaining significant strength and mobility, putting in great effort toward earning a second chance at life. He then came down with septic pneumonia and fought to the very last minute. Elton was born in Murray Utah on January 24, 1965 to Reva and Lin Wilcock. He grew up in Bridger Valley Wyoming where he learned to be a jack of all trades. He was always up for an adventure and was quite the daredevil. At a young age he met and married Mechelle and had two kids Eric and Kami. They later divorced yet she remained the love of his life. He made a lasting impression on the many companies he worked for, not to mention the people that he helped. He owned Blue Mountain Trucking and Logging He was an underground miner and one heck of a mechanic. He was a man of his word and expected the same in return. Survived by his children Eric Wilcock (Angie Sorrell) and Kami Wilcock (Robert Sizemore). His Grandchildren Dominick, Kaylyn, and Kamryn Sizemore, Jordyn Reed and Jaxon Wilcock. His Siblings Christine Brazeau (Jon), Charlene Wilcock (Mike Mueller). Father Lin Wilcock. Preceded in death by Mother Reva Dutton Wilcock and older sister, Kay Wilcock. As well as other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2025 at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Visitation and viewing will be held Monday from 6:00pm ~ 8:00pm and Tuesday from 9:45am ~ 10:45am, all at the funeral home. Interment in the Rockpoint Cemetery.
