Emily Stratton

May 10, 1998 — August 20, 2014

Our precious angel, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend was born on mothers day May 10, 1998, and went to heaven on August 20, 2014. She was the youngest of three children born to Kevin and Michelle Stratton.

Emily was loved by many and always had a smile on her face. She had a passion for clogging, ballet, and point at the Powerhouse Dance Studio. She is and always will be an All-American clogger. Recently Emily made the Uintah High School cheerleading team and quickly fell in love with her teammates, coaches, and pom-poms. She loved her two dogs Molly and Jewels with all her heart, along with the many baby birds she loved to rescue. Her love of flowers was endless, especially the pink and blue ones. Emily enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with her family outdoors. Em and her mom loved collecting sea glass on the beach in California. Her family took many vacations and no matter where it was she loved it. In her spare time, she enjoyed sitting on her couch watching movies and eating microwave popcorn. Nearly every day of the summer her, her mom, grandma, aunts, and cousins spent countless hours swimming in their swimming pool.

Emily never complained and had an honest personality. Always smiling she lit up our home and everyone around her. Dad and his "Sis" always teased each other and spent a lot of time together. She especially loved to tease her uncles and getting teased right back. Mom and her "Little Miss" loved walking to get the mail down the driveway holding hands, laughing the whole way. To her brothers she will always be their little sister and forever know they have someone watching over them.

She is survived by her mother; Michelle, father; Kevin, brothers; Kevin and Mark, half-sister; Janie, grandparents; Bill and Pearl Cook, grandmother; Evelyne Stratton, and her numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and friends.
