Lemons and James Lester Lemons in Emmet, Idaho. Everett married Alice Rose Lemons on August 23rd, 1980 they were married for 44 years this year. They were married in Boise, Idaho. Everett enjoyed everything he was a jack of all trades and could do anything. He was a very hardworking man who enjoyed family and his grand/great grand kids very much. Everett lived on Bainbridge Island while his daughters were little, he enjoyed taking the boat out to the San Juan Islands there with his three little girls Connie, Colleen, and Lori. He enjoyed driving his Bronco around and exploring the woods. Everett served in the United States Coast Guard for 8 years. He was very proud of his time in the service and shared stories frequently of his service time. Everett was a communication/radio specialist for the forest service for 25 years and was able to retire from this profession. He spoke very fondly of his time during this period. He had many stories to tell of his time with them as well. Everett was always giving his great grandchildren apples every visit it became how we would remind the kids of which grandparent we were going to visit. He was known to them as the Apple grandpa. Everett took pride in his yards and house. A week before he passed you could still find him outside pulling weeds even when his wife insisted on him resting. His reply was always "I want to make sure the home looked good for you." His love for his wife was unwavering and inspirational. At the end of his life his favorite saying was always "you're kidding me." There is so many things that can describe Everett and such little time in a lifetime to speak on it.
