Everett Southam

Everett R. Southam passed away on August 9, 2012 in Chico, California. He was born June 15, 1942 in Vernal, Utah. He graduated with a PhD in Animal Science from the University of Wyoming. He taught for 32 years at Chico State University.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie and his father Ralph Southam. He is survived by his wife Sherry, 7 children, Gordon and Camille Southam of Covington, Louisiana, Annaleis and David Smith of Spanish Fork, Utah, Blaine and Crystle Southam of Windsor, Colorado, Eric and Jennifer Southam of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Boyd and Stephanie Southam of Willows, California, Brent and Laetitia Southam of Hawaii, and Maureen and Bryan Dalton of Spanish Fork, Utah. There are 22 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17, 2012 at 2pm at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home, 410 N. 800 West, Vernal. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
