Gaelynn Gardner

Gaelynn Gardner, age 69 of Vernal, formerly of the Roosevelt area, passed away on July 2, 2024. She was born on February 8, 1955, in Roosevelt, Utah to Mervin LeRoy & Iona (Olsen) Gardner. She was a very creative seamstress when making fancy dresses, Halloween costumes for her kids, PJ bottoms made of old sweatshirt sleeves or the outline of a pair of pants. Our mom loved spending time with her grandchildren to make great memories. She loved to give out handfuls of Tictac's to all her grandchildren. Gaelynn owned and operated a successful housekeeping business and worked as a hairdresser before owning her business. Gardening was a passion of our mom, she found joy in laying out trees and flowers in her yard. While indoors she was always pruning and caring for her house plants. When she was not working in the yard she loved watching fireworks, going on scenic drives, and around Christmas, she would have her tree lit up like the North Star. She is survived family by daughters Amanda, Danelle, (DJ) Rome, along with eight grandchildren. Her siblings; Les, (Lanette) Gardner, Janet, (Lynn) Snow, Sheela, (Gilman) Mitchell and Joe (Amber) Gardner She is preceded in death by her parents Iona (Olson) and Mervin LeRoy Gardner. Graveside services for GaeLynn will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 10:00am in the Neola Cemetery. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
