Gary Snow

Gary M. Snow passed away June 18, 2013 peacefully at his home. He was born August 23, 1942 in Jensen, Utah in his family home. Born to Corwin (Cork) and Eugenia (Jean) Rosemond Matthews Snow. He married the love of his life Daphne Faye Amende on January 12, 1962. They had celebrated their 51st anniversary. 

He loved hunting, fishing, working hard, farming, and his garden. He owned Gary Snow Maintenance, worked at Bonanza Contracting and Uintah Water Conservancy District until he retired in 2007.

He loved being active and spending time with his children: Dave (Shelley) Snow, Dana (Alan) Blackburn, Mindi (Lewis) Schooler, and Kari Cook. The greatest joy of his life was his grandchildren: Corwin (McKenzie) Snow, JayeCee (Brian) Schiermiester, Keaton and Ashley Blackburn, Austin and Alexie Schooler, Branson and Victoria Cook, Rachelle (Eric) Christensen, and Ryan (Melanie) Blackburn.; his great grandchildren: Grandpa's "Pow Pow kid" Easton Snow, Carson and Connor Christensen, and Brandon Blackburn. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bart Snow. Survived by his wife Daphne, children, sister Barbara (Bobbi) Yates, and brothers Leo, James (Jim), and Milo Snow.

Graveside services were held Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Jensen Cemetery. The family would like to thank all our family and friends who have helped us through this time, along with Good Shepherd Hospice, Dr. Alma Parker, and Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Gary loved everybody and wanted everyone to love one another. "God bless Jensen America."
