Hal Scott Rosvall

April 11, 1949 — February 14, 2020

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Hal Scott Rosvall, 70, returned to his heavenly home on February 14, 2020, after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 11, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Hal was the fourth of five children to Oran Howard Rosvall and Cecile Humphries. After a previous marriage, Hal went on to remarry and met Brenda K. Bills an old High School sweetheart. They were married September 13, 1993 and their marriage was later solemnized in the South Jordan, Utah - Jordan River Temple. She was the love of his life and they were able to share 27 years together. Hal was faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and severed willingly in many callings throughout his life. He loved to learn and enjoyed the many opportunities that he had to serve as a gospel instructor and share what he had learned with others. Hal found great joy in the simple things of life. He had an incredible love for books, history, woodworking, golf and University of Utah football. He was a skilled craftsman and made hundreds of birdhouses, benches and other woodworking crafts that he enjoyed sharing with so many individuals that he knew and loved. He had a long and very successful career within the electrical distribution industry and retired as an executive with Codale Electric. Hal loved to care for others and was completely selfless with his time, talents and energy. His greatest act of service came after retirement, where he and Brenda housed and cared for adult males with special needs. Bart, Ronald and Grant became family and were so loved by him - we know that Bart and Ronald were present when he passed away to welcome him home. Hal is survived by his wife: Brenda.
