Harold Pope

Harold was born November 8, 1927 to Charles and Viola Massey Pope. He married the love of his life,ORetaOaks in 1944. Together they raised six boys. He was an avid out doors man who loved hunting and fishing mostly fishing. Any day on the lake in his boat was a good day. He celebrated life everyday and will be greatly missed by many. Harold is survived by his sons Bob (Julena), Bill (Marcy), John (Denise) and daughters-in-law Connie B Pope (wife of Jerry) and Connie S Pope (wife of Chuck), brother Kay and sister Reva. As well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren who all loved and adored him. Harold was preceded in death by his wifeOReta, his sons Jerry, Chuck, and Michael Pope Granddaughter Nichole, brothers Lloyd, Lynn, and sister Ruth Magee. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Vernal Memorial Park with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 11. A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday morning 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 N. 800 W.)
